Replaced turn signal switch, tilt wheel not working??

hey everyone, last night i replaced the turn signal switch on my 90' xlt, and now my tilt wheel doesnt work. any suggestions??? at this point i'm very annoyed, and i'm just not sure i want to deal with this truck anymore. it seemed to be something simple, but i guess not. i got so frustrated last night, that i just left everything apart. please help before i send this truck off..................

i forgot to add, the tilt wheel does work if i manually move this lever under the column, but not with the turn signal switch/ lever? please help....

There should be a seperate lever to tilt the wheel. At least that's how my 94 is. It's a little lever that screws into a spot just below and behind the turn signal switch. I'm sure you had to take it out unless I'm not very smart or something?

thanx for the info, but my turn signal lever and tilt wheel work as one unit. thats how it was when i took it apart... i'll give this another effort after work today.... thanx for the reply

Well, if you have the column off already then snap a picture of it, I've never seen the set up like that before if you don't mind.
