rear quarter panel/side replacement

Hello again folks! I am about to replace the entire drivers side rear panel on my 78 bronco. I have the panel in hand and am looking for any tips or techniques to get through this job as painlessly as I can. I have never done any body work before EVER! I have tons of tools to do the job, just not the knowledge. Any help or pics. would deff. help! As th truck sits now the drivers side panel has been cut off the truck while leaving all the ''flaps'' that the new panel will have to wrap around and attatch to. I'm looking at the pillar area and I'm going cross eyed trying to figure how to get the old stuff out and the new one in without destroying the rig. hope to hear some good feedback or directions to find more info!
