Rear Dome Light

I purchased a 1995 Bronco not to long ago. While cleaning up this thing i noticed a cap on the inside rear portion of the shell. When i popped off the cap there was an electrical plug attached to it. Is this meant for an interior Dome Light for the cargo area. If not what would it before, and if so where could i find one. Thanks.

92+ had them on the shell and wired into the high brake light harness.

hey, i noticed mine had a plug on the left side behind the wheel well (or maybe right above it) and below the quarter window, and i am not sure if that is what you guys are talking about. Is it?

did they ever make one on the right or passenger side cargo area if so know what i want next for both trucks there is never enough light back there when i need it most

I doubt it b/c that's where the tire goes on the trucks without the exterior spare.

I know but it would be nice one of mine has the inside as O.E. the other is outside I replaced the inside panel on the inside mounted so that I could have the pocket instead of just a hollow area then mounted a light like the jeeps have under the hood with the pull out cord kind of like a drop light now looking for a few more to put under the hood on both trucks they are great for looking under neath when you have trouble on the roadside

It is the plug right behind the third brake light, I will have to look in some junk yards to see if I can find a light for it.
