Hello!

I notice my 89 Bronco having wheelspinn on only one side of the rearwheels. Eider im in 4WD high or in low mode only one frontwheel and a backwheel is loosing traction. I get stuck olmost evrywere.

When i turn the ignitionkey on i can see the lamp "Rear antilock" lights up, but goes away when i start the engine.

So this car has a electronic diff lock up on the rear axel? Is there any easy way to test this if broken or not? Or any tips?

"I notice my 89 Bronco having wheelspinn on only one side of the rearwheels."

This is normal with factory open differentials.

"When i turn the ignitionkey on i can see the lamp "Rear antilock" lights up, but goes away when i start the engine."

Check me on this but I believe this is refering to the anti-lock brake system.

"I get stuck olmost evrywere."

Well.., what kind of terrain are we talking here...? Gett'n stuck is part of the fun...., & quite normal with open diff's.

"So this car has a electronic diff lock up on the rear axel?"

Don't think so... :-B

Lotus.,

Many answers on this board are dependent/tied to the info. provided by the member/posters info., signature pages.

If you do that., (complete those pages) you will be better served. >:D< <'>

LSD's are a great value however, some labor involved.

I wheeled my Bronco(s) for most of 20 years before locking the rear. It just requires better wheel placement and good spotting.

Maybe in worst case i weld the rear diff. Not very keen on spending big bucks on this old car.
