heres the deal. i have a 93 5.8L. whenever i turn the heat on steam comes out the floor vent and the defroster vent. this is making it very hard to drive because it fogs up my windshield. air only blows out the defroster vent no matter what setting i put it on. oh yeah and the steams smells like anti-freeze. what is going on with my truck....somebody help me please. thank fellas

Sounds like the heater core is gone.

I agree. The heater core uses ainti-freeze (coolant) from the motor to make heat, looks like it's leaking internally by the steam. A simple replacement, just be sure to check your coolant level so the engine doesn't overheat.
