Orange glow replacement

I had this really awesome post all typed up, then I somehow lost it all. Since I feel 15 minutes of my life was just wasted, I will cut to the chase. I got a 93 Bronco and want a new dome light. I read another thread talking about using a Ford Ranger light. Which years would work best for a 'fit in place' in my Bronco? Is there a fit in place light that I can throw up there that anyone knows of, that doesn't ****?

I haven't really gotten in depth to looking, but this will be my daily driver in a few months (thank God for short commutes). Also, while I have someones attention, I have been thinking about ripping out the carpet interior and laying down the vinyl. Is this a 'relatively' easy task and where can I find the vinyl flooring. I have tried Google but haven't found anything really except some crappy carpet covers for the dash board (no offense to anyone that has them).

Anyhow, I appreciate any responses and look forward to really perusing this site and using it!

Many dome lights from other Fords fit well! Watch for shorts though for where mounting screws may touch the inner roof panel of the cab.

The Taurus light fits perfectly as a direct replacement. I used it in mine and love it.
