will an np205 out of like a 78-79 fit the tailshaft on my 88? I think they were both 32 spline shafts, right?

What tranny do you have in your '88? I think someone said on here that our style Broncs have 31 spline output shafts, I was curious about this myself

The Np205 should fit a C-6 auto, not sure about the AOD. There are two lengths of t-case/tranny adapters, and both are slotted for the two shift rails for the 205.
