Just want to make sure I know the proper procedure to change from 2WD High to 4WD Low. With locking hubs does it make a difference if you lock the hubs before or after changing to 4WD Low??

I always engage the hubs first out of habbit but it does not matter one way or the other. Just make sure you are stoped and not in gear when going from high to low or from low back to high.

No it makes no difference. Its not advisable to drive in low range without the hubs locked, but I used to do it on my last Bronco when I wanted to do Brakestands.
