I am looking for any tips to ease the pain of this motor swap. Was wondering if I could use an older model throttle cable for the carb or what would be the best way to go. I am looking for other items too Cowl hood for my 88 model and a good set of trail/highway tires. Anything is better then nothing. Thanks guys.

The carbs use a kckdown rod instead of a cable. US Body sells a cowl hood for the 87-91 Bronco, but it would be alot cheaper to just buy the cowl scoop and put it on your own hood. Good luck!!!

I would use the throttle cable off an older truck, and JSM84 has a good point on the Kickdown, its a rod for the carbs and cable for fuel injection. You didnt specify what tranny you have so this may or may not be an issue
