Ok. Been going through the motor and good news is no vac leaks. Came across some unplugged connections. First two are in front of washer fluid tank. Next one is in front of battery. Last two are under the dash behind fuse box. Wiring under fuse box is a rats nest. Thanks in advance for taking time to educate me.

Since I can't see the wire colors well and until someone else who has a Bronco in your year (range) can help better, here are some sources for wiring Diagrams:

First:

Where two colors are shown for a wire, the first color is the basic color of the wire. The second color is the stripe marking. For example: LB/BK is Light Blue/Black

BK Black, BL Blue, BR Brown, DB Dark Blue, DG Dark Green, GN Green, GY Grey, LB Light Blue, LG Light Green, N Natural, O Orange, P Purple, PK Pink, R Red, T Tan, V Violet, W White, Y Yellow

The Bronco wire harness comes full feature wired.  Even if the feature is not installed in the truck, the connector will be in the harness.   You may or may not be missing something you will want connected that the previous owner has removed.  As long as the truck is running OK, they are not in of immediate importance.  I'm sure someone on the forum with an 89 will be able to identify them.

Hey Paul,

That wire nut, and lamp cord in the pic tell me that the PO did some wiring.

The white connector in the last pic looks like a connector for some after market stereo or amp component. The inline fuse holder is another tell-tale that aftermarket components have or had been added.

It is important to be sure those items are properly protected with fused power circuits.

Take one  added circuit at a time and check that it is properly fused.
