Anyone have a good mechanic referral in the NYC area- lost my garage (and the warm weather) when I moved from Cali to NYC. I've got a '66 half cab I hauled out here with me that needs a little love, mostly elctrical and a little bit of chassis.-Thx!

My brother in law has a good friend who is a good mechanic in Mahwah NJ. He does total frame up restorations as well as general mechanic stuff. If you are interested, I can get you more specific info and you can give him a call.

Mahwah is 30-40 minutes from either the GW bridge or the Tappanzee Bridge.

I'll gladly take you up on that offer. I really appreciate it, just found a shop near by that rebuilt the rear dif- and turns out the gearing was all off :glare: ! so would be great to find someone that knew what they were doing.

I just found out he moved his shop to Goshen NY last year.

Just looked up Goshen, that's perfect- my rig has been stored for the last few weeks in an friends barn @ 30 mins north of there off rt 17. I'd love to give this guy a call.
