Hi guys..... While working yesterday I seen a 4x4 (wont say what kind.. it wasnt a ford) with a light set up on the roof. I know I've seen them before but cant remember the name. Ok I was 1 solid set of lights with like 6 or 7 facing forward 1 on each side and 4 or 5 facing the rear. It was all in one unit that bolts to a lightbar. I found a pic of it but just dont know the name ........I want to say they are called "TrailBlazers" but when I try to search this all I get is Chevys truck. Im attaching a pic of a truck with them on it. If anyone has an idea let me know.......thanks guys

Trailblazer lightsHey Ragu, Here's the scoop trailblazer went out of business about 5 years ago. Here is a website for more info, and some really cool trucks sporting these lights. Also check "craigs list " there was a guy on there selling a set for 100 bucks I know they cost a lot more than that. Hope this helps!! I hope the link works if not you'll have to type it in

The underlined link at top works just checked it!

Kind of odd finding this thread. I was just looking around online for a lightbar before I came here intending to ask for help...

The more I think about it, the less I want one on top though. Most of my offroading, so far, has been off in the woods. I'm certain anything up there would act as a "catch-all" for every limb and vine I passed by. I think I will just get me one that mounts to the front of the truck around the bumper/grille area...

Thanks alot for the link Mike.........Ive seen these lights on a truck back up in New york about 15 years ago. If memory serves me correct when I looked in too them they were from $250.00 for the small one and around $500.00 for the big one. which was alot of money back then......in fact thats still alot of money now!!. well with todays light systems like the "H.I.D." going sky high in prices. Its getting pretty hard to find and afford a multi. lights system. I remember when you could get 2 "Daylighters" with ALL wiring and switches in one box for $60.00. Thanks alot for the help guys. I know I can always count on help from here. ....peace

That is true, but if I put any extra lights on they would definitely be on top becuase I think my headlights work fine, the only time they don't is when I'm in tall brush and my lights are just lighting up that brush, I need lights on top so I can still see when my headlights are covered.

My solution to the tree problem is when I get a new windshield in, I'm going to build an enclosure with some rectangular or LED lights, so they aren't very tall, and build it inside the truck along the top edge of the windshield where the visors are, that way they are protectected, aerodynamic, and one of a kind? only concern would be getting the enclusre sealed perfectly so that i dont get blinded when I turn them on, and heat.
