I am going to replace old tired springs with NEW! Money is not a problem (with in reason of course).

I have a 76 with lots of ***** modified "69" 351 4v, 4sp top-loader, factory top, onboard compressor, winch, hilift, shovel, roof rack, ect.....

Should I be conservative or go big? I do like "Jeff's Bronco Graveyard" Bullet Proof system.

Any oppinions....advice....comments......?

:blink:

I installed a WildHorses 3.5" with dual shocks (Rockcrawler coils in front/11 pack leafs in rear) and am really impressed with the articulation, ride quality, and stability on the highway. I have 33X10.50 BFG's. With my new Detroit Locker, I have trouble finding challenging terrain in the flatlands of Kansas.

That being said, there are still some times I wish I'd have gone bigger.

Walker;

Thank you for the input, I'm in Nevada, and I did destroy my rear diff once doing radical rock crawling. That said and your opinion, I think I may go big.

After tearing up my rear end I installed a Detriot in the back and a Powerloc in the front with 4.56 gears. I am currently running BFG 12-33's but may go to 35's after the lift.

Thanks again!

The absolute best lift on the market is put out by Cage. End of story. It offers the best flexibility along with ride. It is more expensive than some lifts, but you get what you pay for with him. He used to design the systems for James Duff and then went out on his own and does lifts for other vehicles too. I have the WH rear 11 pack leafs & I do like them, but they aren't as nice of a ride as the Cage. I have the Cage front coils and they are sweet!!

Thanks S Bolt;

I will check them out.

I was also wondering if a track bar riser is better for my 76 than a drop track bar bracket.

6 of one, half a dozen of the other. When you order the lift, talk to the guys and ask their opinion.

Allrighty then......

I have ordered "Cage" 5.5 coils, front shock hoops, and extended radius arms. (By the way; Cage radius arms look identical to Duffy's).

And... I ordered "Deaver 5.5 leaf springs fom BC Bronco along with many other needed items so far totally over $2500.00

But... there is much more to buy (Steering, tires, wheels, shocks....on and on...)
