I have a 1977 Ford Bronco and would like to put a 83-85 Mustang GT aluminum four barrel manifold on the 302. I live in southern Cal and will need to have the vehicle smogged in about 18 month so I plan and keeping the EGR valve and adapter plate.

My question is will the new manifold, adapter plate and carburettor (most likely a Holley 4160) and factory air cleaner fit under an unmodified hood? The Bronco has stock suspension and no body lift.

Thanks in advance

Everything will fit if you use your stock bronco air cleaner. I swapped a 302 out of an '86 mustang into my '74 and everything matched up fine. The only problem that I encountered was that I used the distributor and plug wires from the bronco and had the wires labeled for the original firing order (those mustang engines are "high output" and have a different firing order.
