Ideas For storing trail items.

I am trying to get stuff together to put in my 84 to make it more trail worthy.I just wanted to know where you all put your stuff? I have a shovel, tools, hi lift jack, strap etc.. oh and does anyone have gun racks in there bronco I would like to know where you mounted them.

Right now, I got a cheap thick plastic box from Walmart till I can get a metal one that I'll bolt to the floor right behind my back seat, strapped down nice and tight. As for the hi-lift, they have the holder they sell that, if you can get a bolt to it, you can mount and lock it in. If not, what I'd do myself is stick it between the seat and the box so it doesn't slide around. Just an idea for you.

I use one of those cargo carriers that fits on into the reciever hitch. Don't have a photo of mine handy (haven't dug it out after the big move) but here's one from Harbor Freight (I just chose their because I remembered seeing it and just ck'd my flyer, they're on sale until Dec 3rd for $40. Hard to beat at that price)

My gun rack is on the inside passenger's side rear topper glass. Dang what a mouth full.
