If I put gt-40 heads on my 351w would I need to change anything else such as like camshaft or anything? The heads come fully assembled by the way.

No you dont have to change anything there the same head just smaller bolt holes . Physically there the same except the cumbustion chambers are different shape and they flow better . Only thing you will have to do is drill the bolt holes out to 1/2 inch . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

They do flow better so it may affect the sound I have flowmaster 40 series on mine so its loud anyway . As for taking it to a shop If you fell your totally over your head then yeah but I would never do that because how are you going to learn Im getting ready to rebuild my first transmission because I wanna know how and a shop wants over a grand to rebuild an E4OD and I can get all the parts for a little over $350 and then Ill be able to do them myself from now on . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
