Getting Her Cleaned Up

Well little by little we are removing some of the hard years from the truck. This week I received a bunch of detailing equipment and supplies from Automotive Detailing Supplies and went from there. With out getting into too much detail, here is the before picture. The paint was really bad from the drivers door back. That's what happens sitting outside for 13+ years.



This is the after. I was really amazed at how the detailing stuff got rid of the water spots and brought that old paint up to look pretty good.



Next up is new carpet, but it'll have to wait until after vacation. Maybe by then it will rain around here and I can find some mudd.

Looks better than a new one!!! What kind of detailing products did you use? Clay bar, or just wax? I need to do the 84, and plain polish doen't seem to do much, JSM84

Man your truck looks great. Would love to see some before pictures.

Here's mine after some good old fashion plan turtle wax and a lot of elbow grease.

The fronts sits better now after having the front coils replaced.

i am about to fight this same battle, after hours of reading i have decided rubbing compound followed by the best polish i have ever done then sealing it with liquid glass....or just a couple layers of wax if you dont want to spend the money on the liquid glass
