I'm finally getting around to updating my Bronco's powertrain/drivetrain. I'm ordering a crate 351 for it, I have an AOD and an NP205 for it. I originally wanted to go with a zf, but the only donors I could find were to nice for me to gut (sorry I like those trucks to much to butcher if they aren't ruined already). I'm curious why so many use the stock transfer case on the Bronco? It seems this would cost more money to get the same result getting the adapters to make this happen? Also Would the stock transfer case shifter and linkage work for the NP205? Looking forward to hearing from all of you guys who have done this before. I'm excited to finally have the time to do this.
