Does any one know if my Fuel Gauge and Water Temp Gauge failure related?

I have my fuel gauge that doesnt read at all, while my water temp gauge works but reads way off, for instance when its normal, it goes to in between the first gap near the C, and if it gets really hot it goes up to only half the meter. Thats when it burning and pretty much if get any hotter, head gaskets will blow.

Its had this problem since I bought it.

Just recently when i replaced my dash cover, I ran into a new problem, My dash lights will not come on, I think it has something to do with the light switch either breaking or not working properly, any ideas on this matter?

If you have a haynes manual, check the wireing diagram to see if they share a common ground.

IF so, clean it.

Here is a list of grounds for a '92 - '96 bronc

A. Starter mounting bolt

B. Right front of Engine compartment near the battery

C. Lower left front of engine

D. Right front of engine compartment on upper radiator support.

E. Left front of engine compartment Upper radiator support

F. Bottom of cowl panel

G. Rear of left fender apron

H. Behind bottom of right cowl panel

I. Left rear corner of cargo area near rear lamp assembly

J. Under center rear of vehicle on rear cross member.
