engine trouble

i have a 94 bronco with a 5L 302 engine automatic. when i first start her up and put her in drive its works ok till it goes to shift to 2nd. then it just revs and i can't get it back in gear till i turn it off and let it sit for a few minutes. i don't know whats wrong.

help!

Is the Transmission Control Indicator Lamp (TCIL) Flashing ? (it;\'s da OD ON'Off Switch?LED at end of tranny shifter stalk.

If so, Get it scanned for DTCs or diy; BroncoJoe has a DIY self test here

no, the TCLI is not flashing but it wouldn't hurt to check for DTCs. anthing else it could be?

Could be TPS sensor; but don't replce it... yet..check for Codes first.
