I've got a friend with no internet access that has just brought an (early?) 66 Bronco to Calgary from Arkansas...

It has some strange things going on with it, that I have never seen.

Has anyone seen a stock hood with no air duct slats in the corners?

The air inlets for both the heater and the fresh air are stamped/ welded steel that run from the rad support to the fire wall along the top of the wheel wells, anyone seen this before?

I think the first year for the air inlets was 67. 66 didn't have that option yet. Or something along those lines...

I worked in HVAC & that looks to me like someone with A/C tin-bending experience decided there was "a better way."

Much easier & cheaper to just repl. the rubber seal between hood & cowl.

I have a real early '66 & my bro has a '67 ......

He prob. had some water comming in & changed things instead of fixing. Looks like an OK job but he had to move stock wiring, etc., & the ducting takes a lot of room.

I've been in and under and around the dash and cowl of the truck, anything with a visible part number is Ford. Even the fresh air vent...

The hood is untouched... as is the pass kick panel.

This all looks like original tooling, that is why I am asking if anyone has seen it before.
