hi i am going to up grade my bronco dana 44 with 4:88 gears to harden axles because i am breaking axles and u joints alot ,i am running 35 bfgs muds and i have to ask you what have people heard and found themself about the new warn and other brands axles before i spend the big money on axles and u joints. if anyone has any feedback i will be greatful to you for your time . my bronco is a offroad only truck lockright in front and racing spool in rear with harden axles and that has fixed the rear axle braking problem and 3speed and 302 efi stock motor i am not going to change to more hp any time soon but would like to stop swapping front axles . thanks again monte

I am running Yukon axles and have not had to do anything to them ever. I have talked to a couple of guys who don't like the warn axles because they seem to strip the splines off of them. I also know that the mosier axles are reputed to be some of the best in the business. I asked around a lot before I went and changed mine out and my findings were that the rear full floater warns were pretty decent but for the front, the consensus (of about 25 people I talked to) was to go with either the mosier or yukon axles in the front.

I second that for the price. If you want more you can look into Dutchmen, Moser and Currie for real strong stuff. You can add Yukon Super U-joints, CTM or just run the Spicer 5-760X. Don't run OX u-joints, they fall apart. I've heard 50/50 rusults with the Warn shafts so I'd stay away from them to.

M4byfun,I have never gotten bad advice from Sbolt 19,so I tend to listen to him.I am doing the same as you ...just ordered my 35 spline currie..4.56's ARB...xtra heavy housing...supposed to get it on the 29th...I am not sure of the front though..I always thought that WARN d-44 front would be the way to go but keep hearing that spline twisting thing?Wild horses has never steered me wrong, and they swear by the Warn replacements..they tend to run what they sell and they run hard trails. If you go with the Yukons would you get back to me...I cant spend the cash now with six little kids and Christmas coming up,but right after Im jumping on it ..let me know..I havent really had a problem with the front, unless a u-joint lets go then Ive broken the yokes? But boy have I broken rear ends..I hope that 35 spline solves that , <)
