mk wellp, heres my situation.

all my bronco needs to pass inspection is a muffler, and the guy who had the rig before me cut it off right after the catty. a catback exhaust from what ive seen goes for about $300+. but at advance a muffler goes for about $110, and the tail pipe goes for about $20. this sounds a little bit better to me if i get some fittings and what not. but this leave me with a problem. i am not big on tools, i just got my first air compressor and air tool set. i do not currently have any sort of welder. would it be possible to do this and pass inspection with some sort of adhesive, liquid welder, or clamps? if so, send me some names.

thanks!!

happy new years boys n girls!

I can't see any reason you can't put the pieces together with clamps as long as you can fit the pipes together.

Good luck,

:)>-

thats what i was thinkin, but i wasnt 100% sure ya know. is there an adhesive that would help seal everything though? i cant think of anything that would work with the high temps.

hey Brandon,

Two things, I can think of only one adhesive that would hold up to high temperaturs and that would be a hondabond HT (high temp). Not exactly sure what the specs are on that but they are high because it is a liquid gasket for high temps (ie.-motors).

Second- I don't think that it will be needed to add the liquid gasket. Depending on if you can get the pipes over one another, so closer to motor goes inside only clamps should be needed. If you need a hand I am more than happy to come and give you a hand. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
