Cracked plug welds

Im in the middle of rebuilding my 69 bronco and after getting my front and rear diffs sandblasted i noticed the plug welds on the dana 44 are cracked. Is this a serious issue or not not worthy? i was reading on another forum about drilling them out, preheating the cast and re-welding them and also welding the tubes to the center section. Does anything know anything about this?

Thanks for the info, i may have to take my front end to a suspension/driveline place to make sure this gets fixed properly.
