Converting 89 Front End to 94

I have an 89 Bronco. I am wondering if it is possible to swap the lights/grill/front end to a 94 Style. I like the look of those better. If it can be done what parts would I need? Thanks for any help in advance.

Hey welcome to broncozone(I see it was your first post). The swap you want to do is fairly simple and not too expensive. Here's a rundown of the parts.

1992-1996 Hood

1992-1996 Grill

1992-1996 Driver and passenger Headlight Assemblies

1992-1996 Driver and passenger Fenders

1992-1996 Lower valance

1992-1996 Front Bumper w/wo plastic moulding

1992-1996 Bumper Brackets

Frontend Repaint to match

All this can be done for around 1200 give or take. My Dad Owns a Truck Salvage Yard and that price is for used parts in good condition.

Yup, as you've been told it's a fairly simple deal. The only additions I would make is that you'll have to repin the headlight connectors for the hi-beams to work correctly and I would *definately* replace the nose as an entire clip instead of piece by piece. Now that assumes you can beg, buy or bribe a couple guys into helping you swap one for another but by changing it as an entire clip you save a WHOLE bunch of time. You *can* do it piece by piece but it will probably triple the hours you'll put into it. Now if you're like me & have more time than money that's just fine but if your time is valuable, buy some beer & call some friends.

I def. Have more time then Money. HAHA. So I don't mind doing it piece by piece. I just want to get it done. Thanks for all your input Guys. I will post pics and do a write up, So if other people want to do it, they will have a guide of sorts to work with.

Like the others said, it's doable but you'll have to swap the entire front end at once since the pieces are not interchangable. I think Blade262US did the "front clip swap", might search for his posts on the subject, JSM84

I have done this swap there are pictures here somwhere . Other things you will need are the core support its different for the headlight mounting . And you will need some angle iron to weld to the inside of your frame so that the 92 bumper has something to mount too . Youll be way farther ahead to find a complete clip to swap theres alot of little brackets that you will need to collect if you do it piece by piece . /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
