brakes??

ya it leaks air rite between the brake fluid resevior thing and the booster, rite where it bolts on it leaks air and i think brake fluid, tryed to make my own gasket didnt work out, what do i need to do to fix this it is going in to be inspected for the first time on tuesday o yea, its a 1984 bronco with staight 6

Kinda sounds like the master cylinder rear seal has failed alowing brake fluid to enter into the front of the booster probably deteriorating the diaphragm . You will definately need to replace the master cylinder but if the damage is already done to the booster that will need to be replaced as well . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Change it quick because you can **** brake fluid into the engine through the brake booster. My booster was half full of fluid on my 79 5.0 Mustang, sucked the brake fluid into my engine and took out the main bearings.

thanks guys, ill go pick one up, but i dont know about the vacoom booster thing, like how to get it off hahah, proly from inside the truck i guess havnt looked but is there any way to tell if there is before i take it off

Unless you filled the booster with fluid it should be fine, the Master Cylinder should be all you need to change
