Hey guys, My truck has sat for about a month and a half waiting for repairs. I drove it today for the first time, and as soon as I tapped the brake pedal, the REAR ANTILOCK and BRAKE warning lights came on and stayed on. I think the pedal feels a little light, but it is hard to tell since I have been driving my wife's Honda Accord for a few weeks straight.

Has anybody had this happen? It seems like maybe a mechanism sticking, but I dont want to start spraying WD-40 all over my brakes. :glare:

You may have a bunch of road crap on your ABS sensor. Also, my lights came on one time after doing the brakes when I didn't fill the master pump back up. Happy hunting!

I checked my fluid level first, and it was fine. Any idea where the ABS Sensor is? What about greasing the fittings at the drums?

first check your parking brake the same lights came on in my 93 and all it was was my parking brake it wasn't engaged but it was slighty pressed down... also check your lines from front to rear especially at bends. check em good for rust or wear marks from rubbing .. good luck ..
