I just installed a 2 inch body lift and i'm trouble shooting all the things that will keep it from working (fan shroud gas tank filler hose ect...) I have everything done except when i went to drive it it wouldnt shift into gear. I looked onder it and it looked like the rod that connects the clutch pedal to the trans and all that stuff under there was not long enough and would not let the clutch all the way out.

Is this the clutch linkage?

Where can i get a new one?

sorry for the dumb question i'm new to the mechanical stuff (only 16) but i'm learning as i go so have faith!!

Thanks for any help

Hey '72...

Sounds like you need the extensions that should have come with your kit.

If you still have three on the tree, you will need three extensions in total.

You will need them to extend the length of you clutch rod and your shift rods.

The three rods will need to be marked along their most vertical plane. They will then need to be cut and the extension will need to be welded in.

If your kit didn't have these extensions, take the rods out of the truck, find a local welder/ welding shop, ask them to extend them 2" for you.

You will see the three pieces in the bottom right of this pic.

Good luck.
