Wow when it comes to lift kits there are lots of different flavors out there, but the majority of them will only give you some additional tire clearance. That OK if that is the primary goal! I'm probably a bit more partial to the Rancho stuff if your just looking for a simple straight forward lift. SkyJacker would be my next pick.

If you are looking for more suspension improvements than just a lift & can afford the $$$$ check out the 4 inch lift from AutoFab. 16 inches of travel front & rear makes bumps go away. There stuff is a lot better than their web site which can be a little hard finding stuff.

I only plan on taking my bronco offroad on spontanious occasions so I need one with a smooth road ride and a rough bump offroad ride.

--> This is the opinion from a guy that finds the best deals on everything he buys <-- Rancho and Skyjacker have the best reputation for off-road durability here in Texas, for minor rock and some occasional hard-core mudding (when it rains that is....). Rancho shocks are much stiffer than the skyjacker's, no matter the model, so if you will be doing the majority of your driving on road, I would highly suggest the skyjacker or, if your willing, the pro-comp lift kits. Some lift kits, usually the cheaper ones, push your tires outward and makes your truck look goofy.....so stick with the mainstream brands to get that badass look.

a little difference...its noticeable to the driver..in my opinion. but also...i was thinking sometime soon of getting a new suspension set up.....i would like to go more towards practicality....but versatility.....alright..so more like maybe a two inch lift...cause im gonna ride bigger tires( i only have like a step above car tires for now.) for moderate four wheelin...but be able to go in to the hills when i want. maybe more ******** when it comes time to buy..but any ideas? i havent researched shocks yet. thx guys
