ABS light on dash is on

My ABS light on my dash is on and has been for several weeks. Auto Zone read the codes for me, but none showed up, it was clean. Any ideas?

Does the ABS work properly? Go out some place and slam on the brakes to see if they modulate the way they are supposed to. If they work OK, you probably have a problem with the indicator circuit.

Turns out the brakes need the electronic control box and the valve box. The abs isn't working at all. A VERY expensive fix. I'm going to try to get these parts out of a parts vehicle I found though. Thanks yet again for all your help seabronc...you are the BEST!

If you have brakes, and you don't have the money for a new control box, then don't worry. The ABS system is designed to revert to normal braking when there is a failure in the system. My friend took out the indicator light bulb, and hasn't had any problem with his brakes.
