a 1987 ford 1ton rear axle should be a dana 60 right...... will that bolt in... maybe have to weld in spring perches?... what about u joints.. will i have to swap yokes or what? thanks for your help!

Hello it could be a 60 , 70 or a ford 10.25 if its outta an 87 it will fit in 80 to 96 as the frame widths are the same. As for the U joints you can get a conversion joint to get the driveshaft to mate to the bigger yoke . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
