I am looking for some interior rear side panels for my 1979 bronco Ranger XLT, does anyone have a source for those? or can anyone point me in the right direction.

Thanks ahead of time

It's not all that hard to make your own. And you can really get creative with it! I made a new headliner and the rear sidepanels for mine....didn't get fancy, just went to local fabric shop and picked out the material that I wanted, made the backing....you can get at any home improvement store, and glue & *****.

Yeah, I think I will have to **** it up and make my own but I want them to be durable and have a professional look to them. Nothing I create ever looks professional. Was hoping to find a source. I think there was a guy that made aluminum rear interior panels I might try and get.

Thanks for the response!

I made my replacement panels out of 1/8" oak plywood. Just layed the old ratty side panels on top of the plywood, traced it out and cut away with the jigsaw. Threw a coat of urithane on and installed them. You could do the same, since you want to cover them with fabic, add an 1/8" layer of foam and cover with cloth. Use a spray adheisive (3M spray adhiesive) to hold the foam in place and the fabic on the back side.

Sounds like a plan, thanks for the reply. I am going to give that a try and see what I can come up with, sounds fairly simple and hard for me to ***** up :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'm the one that makes aluminum rear panels and door panels that match.

Edit: Noticed you relied to my thread

I plan on making my own and cutting patterns in the backing foam to add some style to them other than just flat and smooth. Maybe cut out a pattern of a bronco horse or something. I am a good ways away from this point so i have time to think of something.
