I have a 94 EB 5.0, and I got 4x4 engagment issues. Whenever i engage the pushbutton 4hi I get a grinding in the front left area. I origanally had the 5 ***** auto hubs and replaced them with Warn manuals thinking the hub was bad. No fix. Still whenever I engage, the front left grinds. Any suggestions?

Is it only when 4hi engages? Or the whole time you are in 4 wheel drive? The first things I would check is pull of the rotor, remove the spindle and check the small bearing inside the spindle. If thats okay check the u-joint on the axle while you are able to.
