02 sensors??

I had read on another forum that somebody was saying they had 3 02 sensors on theirs? Is this possible and WHY? :huh:

My Bronco does not even have the 02 sensor hooked up, it came that way when I bought it, the seller had told me he had the computer reprogrammed to compensate for the 02 sensor being gone (header swap).

I just added exhaust pipes and had told them to hook one up for me, and they said they couldnt find it, or the wiring/wiring harness at all so we just left it as is. Now it pings up hill and I'm wondering if this will eventually cause problems.

I think your 89 originally had 2, one before the first cat and one after the second. You might check www.fordfuelinjection.com for more info onthe O2 sensors and your pinging problem.

my 95 only has one before the cat. thats it. 96 has 3 for OBD2
