Thinking about installing a billet grill but had a question... How do you access the engine compartment once the billet grill is installed or is it just a PITA?

If we are talking about the same thing, how about the hood? That's how I get at mine.

Ohhhh! @-) OK, I'm thinking about mine and I forgot that on some trucks you get at the release by reaching through the grill, DUH! :blush: Actually I plan on putting one on mine, maybe sooner than I expected :blink: .
>-I spaced the bars on my Stull square tube grille so that my fingers would fit under the hood to pop the latch once the inside release was pulled. But on later-model grilles with thinner tubes spaced closer together, you have a hrad time (PITA) getting the hood opened if the release is in the middle of the grille. JSM84

yea i have an 89 with the center hood release and thats the exact reason i runa stock grill, i dont need to be screwed on getting my hood open
