Hey fellow Broconians,

I just picked up an 89 EB for $1000, and am working on fixing up the deficiencies to get 'er running solid again.

Once that's done I'm going to give'r a 6" lift and either put on some 35s or 38s, wither way I'm going to cut back the fenders and put on some flares to get rid of some body rust.

I've been looking around at lift kits, and a lot of the listings say that lengthening the driveshafts is required. I've been trying to find information about it and haven't been able to find out what kind of work or parts are required to lengthen the driveshafts, and by how much they need to be lengthened.

Any of you guys done a lift recently and able to tell me what's involved?

Thanks!

i'd advise you to try and find a local 4x4 shop or any fab shop that does that kind of work and see what they think...unless someone else on here can give you an exact measurement...you're going to have to have a shop lengthen it though

i have a 6 inch on mine and am yet to lengthin it , just dont flex it out alot and youll be fine but yeah if you want to do it right and not have to worry about something breaking or comming lose definatly do it , around here they build you one from scratch for a 94 at around 285.00 which isnt bad by no means
