What's in a name?

Just want to share my ride and say hello!

She's a bit unique. Some have scoffed, others have loved it...

I didn't do this mod, but I bought her this way and I love the uniqueness.

About to install a Borgeson steering shaft setup with a Redhead gearbox, and some new 16" Vision D window wheels, new Ford center caps, and some Bridgestone Dueler 265/75r16 (31s basically)... Also throwing in a tune-up, all new filters and a few other mods and add-ons here and there including stereo upgrades and a 9000 lb. Traveller winch mounted on a receiver hitch removable plate w/deep cycle marine battery and trickle charger hiding in the tool box.

Already put about 2500 miles on her as she's pictured, and the sloppy steering and a little of sluggishness is my only complaint so far, hence the grocery list already being gathered up.

Interesting.
So...its kinda an extra short wheelbase 150?
Looks like he had a 5th wheel plate in there.
You might have an extra duty set of springs.

1979 Bronco- 2003 Lightning swap

Hey Guys, I have posted a few picts here and there of my work in progress. I thought I'd try my hand at a build thread. I only started posting recently, so sorry if this isn't up to standard. I restored a 1979 Bronco from the ground up in 1991 when my kids were very young 351M 10.5...
