My question is I hear a loud clunk when shifting into reverse and was wondering if it is the u joint? The noise comes from the rear but only when shifting into reverse. Sometimes it shifts fine into reverse. I see there is play in u joint when rotating drive shaft back and forth and here the noise when driving. Shifts fine into other gears. My engine is a 351m and a c-6 automatic
