NOWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is what all the kids on the Explorer Forum( he shudders as he types it) do to theirs. Every time I go in there some new kid posts, " here's my new ride. What do you think?" Then there is a picture of some dman street wrangler with big wheels, lowered, chromed out. Some kid in there has a picture of his black limited all chromed out on 20's sitting in front of some humongous house with a Hummer the same way and a couple of Mercedes sedans talking about how he works for his dad blah blah blah. I just want to puke.

Don't get me worng. There are also quite a few guys in there who have lifted and mangled theirs, but it's the suburban gangstas that do the majority of the posting in there.

I was hoping they would be as intelligent and knowledgeable about their rigs as everyone in here. Apparently not. You know unless you are looking at adding a bunch of speakers, rims and tape on chrome. I may have well bought a stupid fast and furious mobile.

I think we can allow you to stay, if you want. I know some local Ford Explorer dudes that offroad with us. THey don't have the 'bling/bling' factor going on, but have some modified axles and big tires, and can handle some serious rocks!!! JSM84

It depends - are you going to mount some super swampers or Nitto Terra Graplers? If that is the case then no, that would be awesome. However, if you are going to put "dubs" on it and then put low profile tires on it then yes. It is very wrong. That would be like putting a lift kit on a Porsche. I am so sick of seeing these trucks in "Truckin" magazine that look like they could survive a nuclear war, but will never even see a speck of mud. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking about getting some 20s for my bronco, are you saying that would be wrong?

You guys are the best. I sware "as God is my witness" I will get another Bronco someday and make you proud. I have posted mine on the classified section with photos. She is a beauty. Wish she ran a little better for whoever is going to get her. I spent this morning cleaning her up. I am even throwing in a Haynes Manual and a can of Glade Orange Smell Good spray.
