O.K......I know alot of you guys are into the v-8s but with 18-20mpg on 38s I am not changing a thing till It blows. ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> .....My question is, does anyone make a reasonable sounding aftermarket exhaust for a fullsize bronco with a 300 6cyl?? I dont want the irritating Hi-c can sound.....any info?? Thanks........Mike :)>-

Maybe if you put a small 2 cylinder lawn mower motor in also, you gas milage would not decrease much but then you would have the beautiful V8 sound, right?

I have a 1996 bronco. it has a 302 v8 but I'm not joking when I say magna flow makes these ford motors sound beautiful. also look into getting a nice set of headers

i replaced the exhaust on my 302 with a stock diameter single line w/ a flowmaster 40 series muffler and stock diameter chrome tip. i did have a magnaflow on it. but personaly, the flowmaster sounds much better. it may just have been that the magnaflow was a "quieter" muffler not that the flowmaster is better necessarily. doesnt do much for MPG though. was just trying to gain a little meaner sound and stay semi sock.

lmc has an cat back dual exhaust kit for all the broncos engines 87-96 with resonator tips that i considered. looks interesting to me and probably sounds mean. plus you can get black tips which appealed to me. or you can get silver if you prefer. but i didnt mess with it. maybe down the road sometime later.

LOL I'm lovin the sawzall person. the shop I work at specializes in exhaust and I love seeing these cars and trucks come in with saw'd off exahust. but I'm not gonna lie. I've done it many a time.

Oh and by the way. whatever muffler you get be sure you buy a turbo muffler. other wise it's just gonna sound the same.
