Guys, I'm trying to decide on a lift kit for my 76. I'd like about 3.5" but i'm not sure which i should go with. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Duff is ok, but I do not recommend going with Superlift. They are a "Box store" lift supplier and the ride will not be equal to what you will get from Duff, Wild Horses, Cage, BC Broncos or any other Bronco vendor. Sorry, but that is both personal experiance and experience from friends. You might want to check out james duff or superlift. You may want to also consider changing the inverted 'y' steering linkage to the 66-75 linkage.
I do like the progressive coils, but sorry bully I do not like the 11 pack rears, I took out 4 leaves before the truck s rear axle moved(at all) on the rocks then took out 2 more before I could crawl, five out of 11 worked for me....go with the 11 pack rear springs for nice street driving and fire road driving..." but i'm not sure which i should go with"Which what..? Height...or... Mfgr..?
Mfgr's. are all pretty equal these days.....just be sure to get the "11 pack rear leafs" & progressive front coils.., & it'll ride as good or better than stock.
Lift = needed attention to steering geometry, brake/e-brake hydo. & mech. lines, driveshafts, rear axle angle, etc.
& as S bolt says below..,
--- Best to stick with Mfgr. rep'ed by Bronco specific stores.../emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
Ya know., I saw that several times in your posts.., & can't fig. that out. Something has to be wrong...as you're the only one I've heard of that makes that claim. :huh:I do like the progressive coils, but sorry bully I do not like the 11 pack rears, I took out 4 leaves before the truck s rear axle moved(at all) on the rocks then took out 2 more before I could crawl, five out of 11 worked for me....go with the 11 pack rear springs for nice street driving and fire road driving...BBB
Sorry my math was wrong what I meant is I took out four leaves total two each side and then too out 2 more one from each side took out three outa both sides So I have eight on each side it must have been late ! I also had a two inch body lift then too so more body clearance, after taking out the two inch body lift i had too cut some more off the rear of the rear inner fender wells do too more rubbing that I could not simulate in the garage with jacks and blocks, what about a shackle flip so we can run flatter springs and still get lift for tires , I suppose we would need bump stops at that point too as too not reverse arc the leaves too.I think what BIGBLUE what saying was he took out 6 leaves total on his 11 pack set up and is now a 5 pack system. This is very interesting and I'm very curious about this modification. Please tell more BIGBLUE! Do you have picts of flex? I would think running only 5 would stuff the rear tire into the body on extreme flex. I run the 10 pack and my tire hits the body. I also cut the fenders to the inside diameter of the wheel well for extra room.
