c8

c=60, 8 is year so it was cast for the 1968/ 1969 production runs.

0 is for the engine family, so it carries on from the 221/260/ 289/ 302 line, originally designed for the Fairlane car line up.

E is the engineering dept, E(ngine)

6015 is the basic block casting number

B is just a service letter indicating it level of "change up" or how many times its

design has been modified.... a would be first design, c would be the third etc...

So you have a 68/ 69 302.
