Hi Everyone,
I just completed the body work on my rig. This included painting the interior with bedliner.
On my '96 there's two bundles of wires (each bundle contains two wires) that run from the drivers side threshold toward the passenger side along the floor. I didn't really want to reinstall them since I'm not putting the carpet back in. One bundle runs to the right rear speaker, which I didn't put back in. The other goes to the drivers seat belt buckle. I didn't install that one either!
Does anyone know if that seat belt bundle has anything to do with airbag function or is it simply part of an idiot light to tell you when you don't have your belt fastened? Do you think it will throw a code if it's not hooked up? Just curious.
I'm at work, I'll post pics of the interior soon. It turned out pretty damn good! That stuff paints on pretty nice. Two coats of Duplicolor covered the white paint really well. Can't wait to get it dirty this weekend.
