wipper arm replacement for my 77 eb

hey guys.. somewhere on the web i was reading about wipper arm replacement with an arm from a minivan or something like it, some mods required. i am heading for silver lake in a couple weeks for vac. mine are junk and would like to update them before i go . any help would be great ! ! ! thanks.. horseplay 77

Go get the rear wiper arms from an 86 J**p Cherokee. You will have to drill out the rivet that is in them, then measure and redrill, rerivet it and you will have a much better wiper system. The guy at the parts store will look at you like you are crazy.... When I did it, I told him that I needed 2 wiper arms and he said they only made them with one wiper back there. I told him it was a Canadian model because they get more snow up there than we do. The dude completely bought it... I walked out with a good chuckle.

s bolt19 thanks a lot ** that sounds like the mod. i was reading about , headed for the napa store now . i realy need something dif. i even thought about sticking with RAIN-X that works pretty good . but it`s the look of a wipper blade laid over on the windsheild (half dead) that turns me off. thanks again $ $ horseplay 77
