window cuts out sound

has anyone run into this problem? when i put my driver side window down the audio cuts out. and when i put it up you can hear the audio coming in and out but its not totally back till the window is all the way up

If it's just driver's side speaker cutting out; pull door panel and see if the speaker wires are being chafed or the conn is loose

its the whole audio system that cuts out

that could cause the whole system issue, if the interference is going back through the ground on the speaker then when it goes back through the deck it would cause the interference, either way inspect the wires in the door panel.

I had a front speaker with a bad wire, but it would only cut out the front speakers, so it could depend on the deck
