whats the right way to adjust transfer shifter?

mine loose i see therea small 5/16 ***** it lose , but i think theres anotther adjustment? is it that big nut? you have to brak loose? i cant seem to get into some gears some times , hard to find N. sometimes it wnats to pop out of 2h , 4h cuase of the shiter i belive? i got no problems with 4l.?

There should be 2 5/16 bolts holding the shift in place. As for your difficult shifting on the transfer case, that sounds like an internal problem my friend.
