Be careful going with the wider 33 or 35s, the lugs on these tires are seriously think enough to bend metal/tear $hit right out, not to mention losing turning radius. Make sure you have the correct back spacing, lift etc., if you do any kind of regular on road driving these are not the tires you want. They are bias ply, will get flat spots sitting during cold periods, weigh 16 Tons each (and thats the 31's) and will rattle your fillings out on pavement, but they are the holy grail of mud tires. Cutting out the short lugs will make them even better in the mud, these tires will dig like youve never seen, I'm willing to bet a 35" could easily break up a 1/2 ton drive line if they catch something under the mud (I lost a rear axle once to someones drive shaft wedged down in a mud bog). My front drive shaft crumpled and twisted like the rubber band on a toy airplane in the heavy clay w/44's. Man I miss my 79, so many good memories.
