i have a 95 bronco xlt with the 5.0 and a 5 speed manual transmission. what is the name of my transmission? i was thinking a zf5 or something liek that, im not realy sure

What is the trans code on the driver's door sticker? It's more likely the M5OD and not the ZF-series.

My opinino, the ZF-series is a much better and stronger tranny than the Mazda- series.

You probably have mdo2 a fine 5 speed by mazda not as durable as zf but it costs less rebuilds 800.00 zf well over 1,000 look here http://www.mackstrans.com/MazdaFordM5R24x4.html
