I want to switch from auto to manual. On my visor there is a shift diagram for a 5 spd overdrive tranny as well as the one for my AOD. I'd appreciate any help.

Mazda m50dR2. the R1 was in explorers.

There is also a zf transmission but i believe it was mostly for the heavy duty stuff and i dont think it came in a bronco.

There is also the np435 4speed, borg warner t18 and t19(both 4 speeds) but i believe the T19 was 4speed where 4th was OD. I had one in an 86 with the 5.0.

Thanx I appreciate that, It'll come in handy
Hi,

I bought my Bronco new in '88. It came with the 300 six and a HD 5speed transmission that I believe to be a zf. Granny low with overdrive in 5th. I wonder if this is a rare combo?

the zf your talking about is the ZF-5. this is the heavy duty found in the trucks. and just to throw this out there the T19 is the 4 speed manual tranny
