My 2, do the research on the year engine you are putting in. Ford had some design issues with their tritons that could lead to higher dollar repairs down the road. I just went through 3 older version ignition coils that now cost 100.00 ea. my 97 exp has 5.4 triton and if you talk to a mechanic. thats what keeps them busy
